Learning from home

We're keeping students learning both in and out of the classroom.

Explore the department's learning from home resources to support both online and offline learning for all students.

Learning from home without technology

We understand some students do not have access to a device or internet for online learning. Contact the school to discuss non-digital learning from home options for your child.

Armidale Secondary College is operational and following the directives of the Department of Education, implementing measures to contain the spread of COVID-19. For students who are currently absent from school or in self isolation, we are collating resources so that our students can continue their studies at home online.

We appreciate that some students won't have access to online resources, in that case, please can parents/carers can collect a week's worth of hardcopy tasks from our school gym each day between the hours of 9am and 12pm. Upon collecting a new pack of work, we request that parents return the previous week's work.

Learning from home has its challenges. To be productive, students will need to implement skills for independent learning and avoid temptations that distract and cause procrastination.

To assist students, and their parents/carers, we have presented a schedule that may be helpful in providing structure to the Monday to Friday daily activities.

Cross Curricular and Extension Activities

More information and stage-specific learning activities are currently in formation and will be updated to this site as they become available.
