Location Hat Head Holiday Park

Purpose Year 7 Camp to Hat Head, repeat of last years camps to Hat Head with a focus on wellbeing for the cohort. Students will be camping and participating in the following planned activities: Bushwalking, Beach Activities, Fishing, Surfing, Kayaking and Sandboarding.

Start time 9:00am End time 3:00pm

Transport Bus from Rologas Fields for a 9am departure on Tuesday 31st October and return to Rologas Fields on Friday 3rd November at 3:15.

Cost $215.00

Dress requirements Neat casual clothing to be worn at all times when not involved in water activities.

Food Students are required to bring their own morning tea and lunch on the first day (31st October) of the camp. All other meals will be provided during the camp, consisting of cereal, toast, fruit, muesli bars, wraps/rolls, BBQ etc. Students will be expected to help prepare and cook the food during the camp, taking turns in group rotations.

Equipment Students will be camping. They will form groups and share tents. * Tents and CampingEquipment - Tent with floor and fly (Shared in groups), sleeping bag, camping mattress, folding chair, cutlery, crockery and tea towel, water bottle, torch (with spare batteries) * Clothing - Neat casual clothing (to be worn at all times when not involved in water activities), rain coat, swimmers, sun hat, bath towel, beach towel, two pairs of shoes (one to be kept dry, the other for canoeing), thongs (for showers), warm clothes for night. * Personal Items - Toiletries, personal medication, sunscreen, insect repellent, pen/pencil, sunglasses * Students will need to have a small day backpack with a packed lunch for the first day with morning tea, lunch, water bottle, sunscreen and hat. Comfortable shoes for bush walking need to be worn on the first day.
