Changes to names of school bus routes
TfNSW are implementing the Transport Connected Bus programme using technologies to enable real-time tracking of school bus services, customer information and student counting functions. School bus route numbers will also be standardised across the state.
In Armidale, this means changes from displaying route descriptions (destination) to school route numbers. From Tuesday, 2 November, route numbers will be added to bus displays; and then from Tuesday, 30 November, only route numbers will be displayed.

2022 school travel applications are now open
Students who change address, school, or who have received an expired notification from TfNSW for their school travel entitlement should renew or update their details before the end of Term 4. A new application will need to be submitted if applying for a school travel pass for the first time, or if requesting additional travel entitlement because of changes to shared parental responsibility (ie custodial arrangements). This will ensure that schools can endorse applications and details.
