National Reconciliation Week - "Wear It Yellow"

Flags at ASC during National Reconciliation Day

ASC formally acknowledged National Reconciliation Week on Thursday 28 May. A school-wide assembly was conducted under the leadership of Year 12 students Patricia Dixon and David Green. Mr Howey (HSIE) spoke at the Assembly about the significance of the day, and Support Unit students were involved in the flag-raising ceremony.

ASC students and staff were encouraged to participate in the Wear it Yellow for Children's Ground fundraiser. We raised $453.84 to donate to learning and wellbeing programmes in First Nations communities supported by Children's Ground.
