Dear Armidale Secondary College Community
Containment Measures for COVID-19
Our school is working closely with the NSW Department of Education and responding quickly to their directions and advice regarding COVID-19.
Of prime importance is to do all we can to keep our young people, and the community in which we live, safe. In reducing the spread of the virus to vulnerable members of the community, we ask for your assistance where possible.
Please encourage students to practise good hand hygiene at all times. We will reinforce this message at school. We would also like to make you aware that the school has limited supplies of antibacterial gel and wipes and suggest that if you have these items, that your children bring them to school and use them as required.
If your child is unwell, they must stay at home until symptoms are resolved and students who become unwell during the day, will be isolated until collected.

- North West Sports fixtures - Various dates - Ceased till further notice
- Harmony Day celebrations - 20 March - Cancelled
- NAPLAN Practice Test, Yr 7 & 9 - 23 March - Continuing as in in-class assessment
- P&C AGM - 26 March - Postponed
- “The Little Mermaid” musical production - 31 March, 2 & 3 April & performances for primary and ASC students - Postponed
- Parent, Student, Teacher Conferences - 1 April - Postponed
- Da Vinci Decathlon - 6 & 7 April - Cancelled
